Zyn22 Surge & Mudhen Meat and Greens | Whole30 Dallas Duo

Wow…hard to believe it’s Day 23 for us, and Day 30 for those who started their Whole30 on the 1st! During this Whole30, I’ve really looked forward to our Dallas Duo events as a way to relax and unwind after a busy week.  I love the opportunity to connect with our coaching group as well as our Whole30 Dallas friends!

Creating a healthy, local community is something my co-coach, Whitney and I have been passionate about since we started working together…

There’s something special about working toward a common goal through exercise, followed by a fantastic meal surrounded by familiar faces and new friends!  We’re all about moving and nourishing both the mind and the body…

Zyn22 Whole30 Dallas Duo

This week, Zyn22 hosted our group in their Uptown location for a Zyn Surge class!  

This new workout format was created by long time instructor Cristin, who’s been a favorite of mine for years!  I’ve always loved her high energy barre and spin classes.  Surge is 60 minute sculpt and cardio class that includes plenty of dancing and booty shaking!  

Don’t let that scare you though, even if you’re not a dancer (me!).  You will have fun and break a sweat, guaranteed.   It’s easy to follow and once you warm up you can’t help but get into it!  I brought my daughter along and she loved it, too.  Keeping it in mind as a fun activity to do together on a Saturday!  We’ll be back!

Post workout we headed to Mudhen Meat and Greens, where an amazing brunch awaited us!  

The wonderful chef at Mudhen created a Whole30 menu for our group.  The food was incredibly flavorful, beautifully presented, and everyone in our group was so pleased with the experience!  (Most items are available on the regular menu, with modifications to make them Whole30 compliant.  Just request…the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful!)  See below for the lovely photos Stephanie Drenka captured of our meal…

    I love the shrimp and cauliflower grits. I was told that I could request the receipe which I did twice to no avail. Please please can I have it.
