Simplified September Whole30

It’s that time again…for the September Whole30!  I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for a reset. After hectic back to school weeks, it’s time to rein everything in and get on track with healthy habits!  Honestly speaking, I could not get it together this week.  Seriously struggled.  So, although many started on 9/1, I decided to give myself a little extra time and start after Labor Day.  If you’re in the same boat, I hope you’ll join me!  It’s not too late to get ready to go on Tuesday…we can do this!!

September Whole30This time I’ll be intentionally simplifying the process…

Recently, I gathered all the dates for our activities and added everything to my master calendar.  It was an exercise in itself!  Everyone has busy seasons in life, and this fall is definitely one for our family!  After looking at the final result, it became very clear, we’ll need quick meals and to set ourselves up for success at the beginning of each week.

When meal planning and prepping, my focus will be on saving time, money, and maintaining my sanity!

I’m deliberately going to keep it very simple.  So, you won’t find fancy, or extra time consuming recipes or plans from me this time!  You can expect me to share how I will make healthy choices for myself and my family despite a richly scheduled life.  I’m going to make it as easy as possible on myself!

Basically, I’m hoping it will be the busy gal’s guide to a successful Whole30!  But, regardless of how busy life is, it’s still possible to do something good for your health.  And, that’s what we’re going to do!

I’ve found that even during seasons like these, following the Whole30 guidelines actually frees up mental space.  Once we get going, it’s easy…and we feel more energetic and capable to handle it all.  Plus our sleep tends to be better when we Whole30, which is also super helpful!
