We’ve been members at Canyon Creek Country Club for over 2 years…
And- during that time the club has been completely reinvented and refreshed! Today I’m sharing our favorite ways to use and maximize our membership. We enjoy using the updated amenities and frequent the club multiple times a week. If you’re in the area and looking for a family friendly club to join, you’ll definitely want to check it out. Watch my “Day at Canyon Creek”reel here!
There are several types of membership including golf, tennis, pickleball, and lifestyle (includes the gorgeous new Press Fitness center). Schedule a tour here!
Pickleball
This is my go to sport at the club! I was totally new to it, but I’ve learned to play by going to clinics regularly and playing in club mixers. There are plenty to choose from during the day or evening, and they make it unique with special holiday themes throughout the year. There’s always great energy when the courts are full and people are having fun!
It’s easy to reserve a court or sign up for clinics through the Invited App.
There are 10 pristine courts to choose from! During the summer and school breaks the kids often join me and have become great players. I love improving my skills and meeting new friends through pickleball. My goal for next season is to join a competitive team! (The Tennis program at CCCC is robust and lively as well.)
Clubhouse & Dining
Richardson’s Table, the new restaurant and bar at the club is welcoming and beautiful! We dine there often, after playing, date night, or family brunch or dinner. I love that they have several local food collaborations on the menu, such as fresh baked goods from La Casita Bakery. Our membership includes 50% off dining (food only), making it even more enticing! Watch my reel of a recent dinner experience here.
The dining rooms are spacious and comfortable overlooking the golf course, and offer the perfect view of the sunset! We enjoy bringing family and friends with us often, as they happily accommodate large groups.
Press Fitness Studio
Personally, this was my most anticipated new amenity! The luxe new fitness center features the latest Technogym strength and cardio equipment as well as free weights and a group fitness studio (in person and virtual group classes available). Personal and small group training is also available.
I love doing a workout or warm up here before I play pickleball or stopping in for a full strength workout. It’s incredibly convenient to have everything in one place! You will find me here often!
Golf Course
A multimillion-dollar renovation has elevated the experience for all skill levels!
One of my favorite ways to spend an afternoon or evening is to go golfing with Andrew and Ryan! I don’t play but I enjoy driving the cart and quality time with the boys. We also love grabbing a cart-friendly snack or beverage to go at the Boxcar before heading out.
Events and Private Rooms
The private events options is just one of the perks of membership! Room rentals are waived for members and the space can be used for a variety of events. The Four Oaks patio can also be reserved for private events. I hosted a spring wine +charcuterie night for a group of friends and it was such a treat!
The club also hosts a variety of events such as wine dinners, trivia nights, ladies nights, and plenty of children’s programming. There truly is something for everyone!
Resort Style Pools and Cabanas
We love the Canyon Creek pool in the summer! It’s the perfect spot to cool off with the family and friends. The cabanas are a favorite and come stocked with a mini fridge, comfortable chairs, and television. Last summer we invited friends to watch the US Open with us in a cabana!
The Treehouse Kids’ Club
Is a brand-new addition where children can learn, explore, and make new friends while you enjoy the amenities of the Club. Our kids are older now but I had to mention it because I would definitely have used this perk when they were younger!
Maximizing Membership
I quickly realized the best way to maximize our membership is to use it and get involved! The club provides countless opportunities to connect with other members with common interests. By going regularly and taking pickleball lessons, inviting friends to lunch, and hanging out with our kids at the pool I have connected with many friends in the neighborhood!
Interested in Joining?
I highly recommend setting up a tour! It’s so easy and really is the best way to see the club and decide which membership option is best for you. Our membership has been a great value for us and it’s in our neighborhood, just short drive away…
