We joined CCCC a month ago, and it’s quickly become our home away from home!
Canyon Creek Country Club is located in Richardson, TX, in the heart of the Canyon Creek neighborhood. It offers a variety of privileges including a championship 18-hole golf course, 20 tennis courts (including 4 indoor courts), 3 pools with an a resort-style experience, and is a very social club with an award-winning chef! CCCC is a family-friendly club with year-round children’s programming, and very active golf, tennis, swimming and social venues.
Today I’m sharing what we enjoy most about the club and what you need to know about membership!
If you’re in the Richardson/North Dallas/Plano area, schedule a tour to check it out (be sure to ask for Christine). CCCC offers an inviting and friendly atmosphere you’ll love!
Why we joined CCCC
It’s in our area and has something for everyone in our family; golf, tennis, swimming pools, events, and wonderful dining/social options.
Ryan and Andrew play golf and we were looking for somewhere nearby where they could play often and also offered other family/individual activities. Upon touring we saw there’s so much going on at all times at the club. You really just have to choose what you want to do!
The pool scene was also a huge draw for us!
Typically we join a pool in the summer, to have a place to cool off on hot summer days. CCCC has 3 pools and access is included in the membership. A win-win situation from the start! There’s a main pool with diving board and water slide, children’s pool and splash pad, and an adults only pool. Private cabanas are available to rent.
To suit different needs, Canyon Creek offers a variety of memberships; two types of golf memberships (all access and associate), and tennis membership (no golf). The golf memberships include both tennis and social (pool and clubhouse). Don’t play golf or tennis? Not a problem! They also have a social membership that includes access to the pools in the summer and year round clubhouse/restaurants/events. With select memberships you can also access other clubs around the country that are part of the Invited Clubs family.
Another member perk is the access to host events in their beautiful, modern gathering spaces.
There are indoor and outdoor spaces to choose from and you can host anything from a large event to a small get together with friends. I recently hosted a fun girls night on the Four Oaks patio with charcuterie and sorbet and it was super easy to coordinate. We had gorgeous views of the golf course and everyone had the best time!
With a membership you get a 50% discount on dining!
Breakfast, lunch or dinner is available at the restaurants/lounge areas along with a great bar and wine room. Poolside food/beverage service is offered and they often have special buffets and menus for holidays. CCCC features a creative menu with plenty of variety. My personal favorites so far are the Avocado Toast, Tacos, and Grilled Salmon Salad!
Activities at the Club
Where do I start?! As I mentioned golf was a huge draw for us and we’ve been enjoying quality time on the course. I don’t play (yet!) but riding the cart while the boys play has become a favorite thing to do on Sunday evenings! CCCC offers lots of options for group and private lessons for golf, tennis, and swimming.
Speaking of lessons, Marisa and I have been enjoying weekly group tennis instruction at the club!
We look forward to it every Wednesday evening and the instructors have been so welcoming and helpful with getting us started. If tennis is your thing, there are 20 outdoor courts (including 4 indoor) to play to your heart’s content!
The social scene is bustling!
From special dinners to golf and tennis tournaments to trunk shows to dive in movies, the social calendar is full of opportunities to connect with friends or meet new ones. I like to browse the Club Life App each week to see what’s going on! It’s an easy way to reserve tee times, view the calendar/hours, and more.
Newly Renovated Spaces
CCCC recently underwent a transformation! Four Oaks huge patio area offers several seating options to enjoy a meal or drink with scenic views of the golf course. The Terrace Room is the perfect spot to host a celebratory dinner. I love that there are many spaces within the club to connect with friends and family or have a quiet lunch and catch up on emails. The tennis lounge is a personal favorite, a cozy spot tucked away near the outdoor tennis courts!
Interested in Joining?
I highly recommend setting up a tour! It’s so easy and really is the best way to see the club and decide which membership option is best for you. We’re so happy we joined and have been using it multiple times a week this summer! Membership is a great value and for us it’s in the neighborhood, just short drive away…
If you’re considering membership hope this post has been helpful in giving you an idea of the many perks of the club. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
