I’m bringing back my weekly Sweat Schedule!
Putting this out there weekly is helpful for me, to keep myself accountable for getting my workouts in. During busy times it can be so easy to get off track and start to skip workouts! But, I try to remember that the benefits I get from exercise are worth the extra effort it sometimes takes to get to the gym or studio. My health, patience, stress levels and sanity are in a much better state when I make the time to work out! Plus, it’s fun to invite you all to try something new or visit a favorite place along with me! If the places on the schedule have special promotions or offers going on, I will definitely pass that along to you, too!
This week my goal is to hit four Weights + Cardio workouts…
I’ll be following my program from The Move Project. Click here to check out some of the programs they’ve put together for me in the past! Typically, I do 30-45 minutes of resistance training, followed by 20 minutes of interval cardio on either the bike, step mill, treadmill, or elliptical.
I’m excited to start off my week with Precision Running at Equinox Preston Hollow!
This 45 minute class is a great interval running workout, taught by Crystal Pollard. It can be modified, and you actually don’t have to run the entire time (if you don’t want to). I’ve done this class using walk/run intervals. Crystal is an amazing coach, and will motivate you to get the most out of your workout! If you want to check out Equinox, let me know by commenting or emailing me (andrea@loubiesandlulu.com). I’d be happy to send you an invite for a guest pass to try it for yourself!
Also, I’ll be visiting Plum Yoga for the first time this Thursday…
I’m really looking forward to taking class at this new studio, which also has an artisanal tea room and boutique. I took a peek at their schedule and noticed some very interesting class choices, such as a rings class! On Thursday, I will be taking the Express Yoga + Core class, and hopefully trying a couple more next week. Currently, they have a 10 days for $10 special for new students.
How will you be breaking a sweat this week? Have you tried any great new workouts lately? Oh, and have you seen this video? Be sure to do something active in your activewear this week 😉 I’ve included a few things that I have my eye on below…Thanks for stopping by!
