LA BICHETTE, A BLOW DRY ATELIER

First Impressions:

Two words come to mind upon walking into La Bichette, fresh and feminine!  The salon is decorated in pretty, soft colors and has great chandelier fixtures throughout.  I had been wanting to try this locally owned business since I saw it had opened this past summer, and a celebration for one of our close friends was a perfect opportunity.  As a treat, I brought my daughter along with me for the service.  Immediately upon walking in, the staff was friendly, offered us something to drink, and asked what type of style we wanted.

The Service:

There is a menu of styles to choose from, or if you have something specific in mind, they are happy to accommodate.  I chose the Bichette, which was described as “big, brushed, bangin’ body”.  Yes, please!  Marisa chose the Yvette, with “loose yet resilient curls”.  First, we headed to the wash area, which had the most comfortable hair washing chairs ever!  At every salon I have ever been to, the neck part of the basin is always so uncomfortable, but not here!  Very relaxing.  The blowout itself was quick, but thorough.  I had lots of volume, but my hair felt smooth and shiny.  Marisa had a headful of loose stylish curls.  They put the finishing touches on our ‘dos with great smelling Oribe hairspray.  Dream hair!

Final Thoughts:

La Bichette is a perfect place to go for a blowout for a special occasion, or any time at all!  We were completely satisfied with our services from start to finish.  They also offer make up application, updos, parties, memberships, and special packages.  The memberships and packages are a great deal if you think you will return often.  I thought the pricing on a single service was great.  I paid $35 for myself, and $25 for Marisa, who is 10.  I am looking forward to returning to try out another style!
