GOALS FOR 2013

I don’t know about you, but I feel like I have been sloooow in getting back into the swing of things at the beginning of the year! I loved the cozy bubble of the holidays, and have had a difficult time coming back to reality.  Need to snap out of it!  I have been thinking about what my goals are for 2013.  What I came up with is sort of broad, but I think it leaves room for interpretation!

Health:  Read up on nutrition, and put new ideas/habits into practice.

I feel like I am doing generally well in this area, but there is always room for improvement.  Specifically, I have been looking into trying the Whole 30 plan, but haven’t read up on it enough to know if it would be beneficial and realistic for my family.

Fitness: Continue to mix things up with workouts and try new classes.

I have had so much fun with this in the last year.  Keeping things fresh workout-wise has been motivating!

Fashion: Quit buying multiples of almost identical items of clothing, and edit my closet so I can see what I actually have more clearly.

I am guilty of this frequently.  For example, how many lacy white/cream tops or black v-neck tees does one girl need?!  Going through my closet stresses me out because I tend to hang onto things thinking that I may wear it again someday, or that maybe my daughter might grow into it later.  I need to be more decisive and get rid of things.  My hoarder tendencies can sometimes get the best of me!

Style: Accessorize my home more with photos, accents.

I am addicted to taking and organizing all of my photographs.  But, I rarely frame my favorites to display in the house.  Also, I don’t feel confident when it comes to home décor, so I tend to shy away from decorating around the house.  I will try to tackle some small projects or enlist the help of friends who have a knack for putting things together.

What are your goals for 2013?  Feel free to share them!
