January is the month to set the tone for being active the rest of the year! And it’s also a perfect time to spruce up your wardrobe with some chic new activewear, and get motivated to hit those workouts! Bandier has an amazing line-up of active and casual brands, and now has a location in Dallas. If you’re not in Dallas, don’t worry, they have a great selection online, too!
I’m looking forward to co-hosting a special shopping event at Bandier this month with my good friend, Marisa Howard, of MARHOW. We had fun shopping at Bandier together recently and (with the help of their savvy stylists!) pulled together these two looks. With so many great pieces to choose from, it was tough to narrow it down!
We chose to highlight the color red in our outfits, as a nod to the American Heart Association/Go Red for Women campaign. (Go Red For Women is an initiative designed to empower women to take charge of their heart health.) And, Bandier will be donating a portion of the day’s in-store sales to AHA/Go Red for Women…how great is that?! Tribal Juice will also be at the event featuring organic, heart-healthy juices.

My Look, (c/o Bandier):
K. DEER Jennifer Stripe Capri: I was reluctant to try these on because of the horizontal stripes, but once I did, I was sold! Very flattering, and with their ultra high waist they’ re oh-so comfortable and supportive. K-Deer made this pattern exclusive, and dedicated it to Jennifer Bandier, the founder of Bandier. A portion of the profits from the sale of each Jennifer legging goes directly to Culture for One, a charity that she is actively involved with. (Culture for One provides children in foster care with cultural experiences that enrich a child’s intellectual development and elevates their personal aspirations.) While browsing the K.Deer site to learn more, I discovered they also make several of their printed legging styles (including these) in kids sizes!
ALALA Bomber Jacket: I’m obsessed with this jacket! (When I attended Bandier’s grand opening in Dallas, Jennifer Bandier was rocking it, and I had to know what it was!) It’s super chic and pairs well with everything from leggings, to joggers, to your favorite denim. It’s two layers in one piece, made of black neoprene with croc embossed panels and accents. It also looks fantastic paired with a slim hoodie, as styled on the Bandier site. It has a slightly boxy fit and layers perfectly over tanks and tees.
PHAT BUDDHA John Tank: This super-soft lightweight tank is the perfect length to wear with high-waist leggings! It hits in just the right spot, not too long or too cropped. It’s a great basic!
MICHI Antigravity Bra (sold out, similar here): I’ve been a fan of Michi leggings for a while now, but this was my first bra top from the brand. It has a great fit and I love the stretchy net details that show when paired with a racerback tank. This bra is very comfortable, and I can envision pairing with with lots of pieces already in my wardrobe!
Also wearing:
NIKE Free 5.o Sneakers: I almost always get the Free 4.o when it’s time for a new pair of sneakers, but this time I went with the 5.0 and equally love them! They are a tiny bit wider in the front than the 4.o style, but still have the flexible feel and light support that I like.
Marisa’s Look,(c/o Bandier):
I’ve linked everything here for quick reference, but be sure to visit MARHOW for Marisa’s breakdown of favorite features of these pieces!
We hope to see you at Bandier on the 21st! (Click here to RSVP) Thanks for stopping by!
SHOP THE STORE: MORE FROM BANDIER
I love the Jennifer stripes on you! The whole outfit suits you really well. Jealous you have a Bandier store where you are! There’s no hope of ever getting an activewear store of any kind in my small town, but I’d settle for one in the same state as me, haha.
Hi Suzanne! Thank you! If you ever visit Dallas, you know who to call for a day of shopping;-)
The store itself is awesome. You’d love it…they have such a unique mix of active brands, plus shoes, sunglasses, and gym bags!
Hope you’re doing well! Let’s catch up soon… xo, Andrea
