Today’s post came about from a candid lunch date conversation with my friend, Steph!
We were chatting about how busy fall has been and how we try to keep meals simple. This is especially true with dinnertime as juggling kids and activities in the afternoons/evenings can get hectic! We both agreed cooking every night of the week is not realistic and having healthy food prepped is key to maintaining our sanity!
Steph wanted to try making the Whole30 sauces/dressings I’m always raving about…
Sooo, of course I offered to come over and show her how easy they are to prep! These have been a meal time game changer in our house because they add so much flavor to anything you pair them with…and, picky kids (and guys!) LOVE them, too! They take ordinary meals and leftovers to the next level…
We had a blast “cooking” in her beautiful kitchen, and joked about getting “sauced” while the kids were in school! We prepped three of the recipes I have on regular rotation, whether we’re doing the Whole30 or not. They never last long in our refrigerator! We made double batches of each one. I left her with one full jar of each sauce and I had three to take home as well. Meal prep win!
In tomorrow’s post, I’ll be sharing all three recipes for the compliant sauces/dressings we made…you’re going to love them!! See the pics below for a little preview.
Steph is also a talented graphic designer and stationery maker…
She whipped up the cutest gift tags for the mason jars we used! These would make a great gift for anyone who loves sharing food with loved ones. I think these will be my go-to hostess gift this season! She also makes holiday specific tags that are the perfect topper for any gift. See some of my favorites below, and check out her shop for more tags, gifts, and chic customized stationery!
