Fall has flown by and it’s hard to believe we’re been in our house for two months!
When I pull into our driveway, I feel a wave of thankfulness and it makes my heart happy to call this our home! It’s a blessing to be here and we’re settling in nicely. I feel compelled to give credit where it’s due…it was Ryan who had a vision for this home from the start. There were times I couldn’t picture the end result but I trusted his ideas and I’m thrilled with how it all came together!
There are many others to thank for their work and assistance on this project: Remodeling Group Dallas, Arteriors Home, The Kohler Store shout out to Phelia, who answered ALL of our (Ryan’s) questions, and the lovely family we purchased the home from. (It never hit the market, Ryan and Marisa stumbled upon it as they were prepping for an estate sale!)
We recently had the opportunity to invite them over to see the finished product. It was sweet to hear their memories of growing up here. Before they left, they said a prayer that we’d create many of our own…it meant so much to us!
We loved sharing the progress of our renovation @west.shore.redo with you, and getting your feedback and advice. Our hope is to continue to share (here and on ig) as we complete our spaces and add details.
