This photo is from yesterday’s Holiday Mini Session with my dear friend, Jennifer Cortes, of Jennuine Photos.  I needed some new photos for our Christmas cards, and a mini-session was the perfect way to get it done.  I met Jennifer a couple of years ago, and we became fast friends!  Since then, I have done many sessions with her, of our family, our kids, and for the blog.  I enjoy working with Jennifer because she is so talented and really puts everyone at ease when she is shooting.  Not to mention, she is fantastic with children!  My 2 year old is not fond of having his photo taken these days, and despite that, she manages to get a great shots of him every time. I am so thankful for that, because lately when I try to take his photo, he runs away!  Another thing I love about working with her is that she always captures a variety of shots, from candid to more formal.  When she sends me the online proofs, it is always difficult for me to narrow down which images I want because there are several great choices!  I am a huge fan of taking family photos often, not because I love taking pictures, but because I want to capture moments in our family’s life.  Time seems to fly by, and I love to capture the stages our children go through.  They are always on to the next stage before you know it!  They change so quickly, even in a year’s time….I get sentimental thinking about it!

Jennifer is offering Loubies and Lulu readers special pricing for Holiday Mini-Sessions.  If you are in the Dallas area, this is a great deal for you to get your holiday card photos taken care of, or to just get some great fall photos!  The package is $75 and includes a 30 minute photo shoot with 5 edited digital images.  She has a limited number of spots available, click here to get in touch with her if you are interested, or you can email her at hello@jennuinephotos.com.  You will not be disappointed!  Her website, jennuinephotos.com, is packed with ideas on how to get the right look/wardrobe for your shoot, and lots of other tips.  You can also see selected images from her previous sessions.  When I find a service or product that I love and use myself, I like to share it!
