Everyone knows…I am all about activewear!
I work out, and basically live in it most of the time. It fits my lifestyle and I feel good wearing it. Leggings, full-length or crops are part of my daily uniform. I will admit that putting on jeans after wearing stretchy luon or lycra feels a little…well, uncomfortable! I know, I know, I have to wear “real” pants once in a while, so I’ve been on the lookout for new denim to add to my wardrobe basics. I’m super picky when it comes to jeans….they have to both look and feel great for me to buy!
During my search, I discovered DL 1961 Denim, and I am in LOVE…
The cuts, fabrics, and finishes from this brand are spot on. I tried on and liked several pairs, and narrowed it down to the “Emma” (in Dyer wash) for my first DL purchase. For me to say that I love a pair of jeans, is kind of a big deal. But these ones are, dare I say it, just as comfortable as my beloved lululemon wunder unders! They fit incredibly well, and feel great on. The DL website claims they “elongate legs, lift your butt, and contour the waist”…I would have to agree! Sign me up! They are made of DLX 4 Way Stretch Denim and will not stretch out or sag.
Here, I have paired them with an airy layered racerback tank from Banana Republic + open-toe booties from Vince Camuto. And, both of these items are on major markdown!
