Daily Harvest Fresh Favorites (plus a special discount!)

Around here, we take meal prep seriously!

Nourishing, delicious food that keeps us feeling energized is a priority. Our routine is a combination of cooking our own meals and making sure the fridge and freezer are stocked with ready to go healthy options. I’ve learned if healthy choices are easily accessible and delicious, we’ll reach for them first!

When Daily Harvest reached out for us to experience their food delivery service I was excited to try it…

I was also looking for quick options the kids could prep on their own and thought it would be a great fit. They can be picky but once they find something they like, it sticks. It’s important and empowering to teach kids to seek out foods to fuel their daily activities!

We’ve used Daily Harvest since March and love it! Although we’ve been mostly at home the past few months we still need fresh, convenient options that fit into our busy lifestyle. It’s fun to fill our box each month with favorites and new things to try. There are options for different dietary needs and preferences, too!

There’s a great variety of Daily Harvest meals, snacks, and desserts to choose from!

The kids like to check out the app to see what’s new and add their selections. The cups are filled with nutrient dense ingredients (many of the fruits and veggies are organic) the whole family enjoys. Today I’m sharing how it works, our favorites, and a special discount code to use on your first box!

What is Daily Harvest?

It’s a frozen food delivery service that features an awesome collection of smoothies, harvest bowls, flatbreads, soups, oat bowls, chia bowls, lattes, bites, and scoops (dairy free ice cream!)

How Does it Work?

You get to choose how many cups in each shipment and orders can easily be skipped as needed. They’ll email or text you to remind you to make your selections for the week or skip. The best part about it: super flavorful food delivered to your doorstep that takes only 5 minutes or less to blend or heat!

My Favorite Cup?

Tough decision, but I’d have to say the Mint + Cacao Smoothie! It’s so creamy and tastes like mint chocolate chip ice cream. Everyone in our family loves it and we practically fight over the last cup! Plus, it’s low in sugar and packed with greens. Just fill the cup with unsweetened vanilla almond milk, pour into the blender, and blend until smooth…dreamy! You definitely want to try this one. It’s so convenient to have the ingredients pre-portioned and ready to blend, in a cup you just pop a straw into and go!

Daily Harvest Mint Cacao Smoothie

Not just smoothies! Don’t miss the wonderful variety Daily Harvest offers…

An entire collection of harvest bowls, soups, oat bowls, chia bowls, flatbreads, bites, lattes (you get three pods in one cup so really its three lattes!), and scoops (ice cream) are available. Another go-to is the Brussels Sprouts and Lime Pad Thai Harvest Cup. I like to prepare it in the microwave, add chicken or salmon, and enjoy for lunch or dinner. It’s a fast, flavorful meal hack!

How much does a Daily Harvest shipment cost?

The cups range from $5.99 – $8.99 depending on the plan you choose. I tend to choose a smaller shipment only because we don’t have a lot of freezer space! I’ve noticed they help us save money by cutting down on last minute take out meals and pricey smoothies and coffee drinks. Daily Harvest is a great value for the healthy ingredients, quality, and variety you get! Plus, you know exactly what goes into them and can customize to suit your taste!
