This week, I attended the Athleta Store Opening Party. I wasn’t the only one! The store was packed with women wanting to get the first look at the store and the brand’s summer line of active and casual clothing. To my surprise, there was a 50/50 split of activewear and casual clothing, plus swimwear. For some reason, I was expecting mostly activewear! They do have a wide variety of activewear to choose from, but this time I was totally distracted by the casual stuff! I was drawn to the selection of easy, chic dresses. There were lots of great designs and colors to choose from. I love to wear dresses in the summer. So easy to throw on with metallic sandals, jewelry, and I am ready to go! Some of the dresses are even available in Petite, Tall, and Plus sizes online. Love that, as I am a frequent visitor to the tailor to get things hemmed. Also loved their linen shorts with the roll-down waist. Perfect to slip on with a tee or tank. They also have linen pants with the same waistband. Summer staples!
