I’ll start off by saying that I’m not usually a fan of loose, flowy tops…
I love how they look on other people, but due to my height, I shy away because I think they overpower my petite frame. But…rules are meant to be broken, and I think it is good to sometimes venture away from the “safe” silhouettes I tend to gravitate towards. Why not try something new?
When I saw this sweater while browsing at St. Bernard Sports, I knew I had to at least try it on. Once I did, I had to have it because not only is it light, comfortable, and flattering, it is a true multi-tasking piece! With lots of ways to wear it, it’s a perfect sweater for warmer weather. You can throw it on over just about anything and it looks great. With the a/c making it chilly indoors, it’s a good piece to stow in your car or handbag, just in case. Today, I’m showing it three different ways, over a new favorite outfit from lululemon. Again, venturing out of my “safe” zone to try something new; light colors, floral pattern and color-blocking all in one pair of leggings! If I am going to be in workout clothes most days, might as well break away from dark solids and have a little fun;-) Paired with my favorite flip-flop alternative from Ipanema, this outfit would be great for yoga, pilates, or barre.
