Instagram Round-Up | #rStheCon Recap

rewardstyle conference

It’s been a busy couple weeks, so I wanted to backtrack a little bit!

Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to attend the annual RewardStyle Conference (rStheCon) for bloggers here in Dallas, at The Joule Hotel.  It was my first time, and I had a wonderful experience, taking in the educational classes and workshops, brand meetings, and fun parties!  I shared some of my outfits on instagram, but they haven’t made their way here just yet (coming soon!).  So…I thought an instagram round-up was appropriate, to give you a peek of some of my favorite looks so far this spring!

First, though, I want to thank you for being a loyal reader of L&L!

Last year, it was one of my blogging goals to be invited to the conference, and because of your support, it happened.  Thanks for reading, and for your comments and feedback that help me make this blog a fun place to visit for fitness, wellness, style, and more!  I love to interact with you all here, and on social media.  Through your support (i.e. sharing my posts with your friends, entering my giveaways, purchasing products I feature here that you love, following me on social media), I can continue to grow and improve this site.  I appreciate you!  Always feel free to email me or comment if you have a question, there’s something you’d like to see here, or if you have an idea for a post…I love hearing from you!

When I got the invite to attend rStheCon, my first thought was, What am I going to wear?!

Three days of workshops, meetings, lunches, and parties…eek!  You all know I live in my activewear, and I try to keep it stylish and chic, but I knew I’d have to step it up a notch for the conference.  Of course, I wanted to wear outfits that reflect my personal style, but a little more dressed up than my everyday athleisure look.

I took it as a chance to add some new spring pieces to my wardrobe!

Saint Bernard was my first stop.  Pulling from their chic spring/summer selection, they helped me get conference-ready in no time!  Saint Bernard always has something that suits my style perfectly…everything from dresses to activewear to casual staples.  I know I can stop by the store anytime and always find something I love (or shop online with free 3-day shipping & returns over $49)!

I wore this cobalt blue dress (under $80!) with block heel studded lace-ups to the opening night poolside party.  I loved the simple cut in front and open back.  I wore a stick on bra with it, but have the worst luck with those things!  I always feel like it’s about to start to fall off at any moment (it didn’t, thankfully)!  Anyone else, or tips on how to make it more secure??  Despite the iffy bra situation, the party was lovely and I got to catch up with my favorite local blogger friends and meet some new ones, too!

This comfortable striped shift dress (with a small triangle cutout in back) and low nude wedges were perfect for day two.  After an inspiring keynote speech by rS founder, Amber Venz Box, I had two brand meetings and enjoyed an amazing lunch at Americano sponsored by luxury skincare and makeup brand, Rodial.  I purchased this Tory Burch tote recently, and it was perfect for the conference, to hold all my essentials for the day, plus a zip pocket for my laptop!

The third day was cloudy so I decided to dress up my favorite high waist jeans with a keyhole detail tank.  I was glad I did because we had lunch outdoors at the Tasset Sculpture Garden with LUISAVIAROMA and I wasn’t chilly at all!  I had an opportunity to learn new information in my classes on day three that I’m putting to use, planning some great content for the rest of the year!  Also spent some time chatting with brands I love, including Splendid

The finale “en blanc” party was an amazing way to end the conference!  It took place at the beautiful Winspear Opera House and everyone looked fabulous in their all-white ensembles.  I wore a textured dress with mesh insets I absolutely loved, and spent some time reflecting on a great weekend with blogger buddies, Marisa Howard and Stephanie Drenka.

In true L&L style, I was back in leggings on Sunday for a fitness event at Athleta Frisco!  Although I had a blast at the conference, my feet were sore from wearing heels all weekend, and I was happy to slip into my beloved Nikes!  Looking back on that weekend, I’m incredibly grateful I was invited to attend, and I’m looking forward to using what I learned to make Loubies and Lulu even better in the months to come…

Stay in the know with Like to Know!

If you follow me on instagram, you may have seen photos captioned with #liketkit and wondered what it means.  I use Like To Know It as a tool to provide you with an easy way to find the products/items I’m wearing in my photos!  It’s simple to sign up and you only have to do it once (click here).  You can even set your preferences as to how often you receive the emails and it will work on any photo that is marked with #liketkit (not just mine).

Instead of having to ask, “Where did you get that?” when you see something you like in a photo, all you have to do is like the photo and you’ll get an email with the ready-to-shop links!  Of course, if you comment and ask me I’ll tell you where its from, but using Like To Know saves time and you’ll get the info faster in most cases!  I use it all the time as well and it makes finding the products I want/need/love online simple and quick.  And, if you’re not on instagram, I also have a section here on the blog that has all of my instagram photos in one place.  If you are registered on liketoknow.it, all you have to do is click on the pictures to shop!

Let me know if you have any questions…Thanks for stopping by!  xx
