Whole30 Dinner Party!

January Whole30When you’re doing the Whole30, having a support system is important!  Whether you’re connected to the Whole30 community online or have your spouse/friends joining you, it makes such a difference.  Feeling connected to others during this challenge, for encouragement and fresh ideas is one of the keys to success!

This weekend, our friends Stephanie and Holden, hosted a Whole30 potluck/dinner party at their home.  Ryan and I attended along with new friends, Emily and Barbara, of the Fortuitous Foodies, and with their husbands.  They’re also doing the Whole30 this month!  (And, let me tell you…they sure know how to cook!  Check out their recipes below.)  Yay for #FriendsWhoWhole30!

The potluck was fun and easy to coordinate!  We planned the menu via email to make sure we weren’t duplicating anything, and it all came together quickly.  During dinner, we chatted about our victories and experiences with the program.  I loved hearing our husbands talk about how much they’ve enjoyed Whole30 meals over the last two weeks!  Big thanks to Stephanie and Holden for hosting and for the great photos!  See our complete menu below…

Everything was so delicious and flavorful!  Stephanie even made a festive mocktail for us, using LaCroix (Cran-Raspberry Lacroix Sparkling Water with a splash of 100% Cranberry Pomegranate Juice and a squeeze of lime over ice…so refreshing!)

I brought one of my favorite dishes to share, Buffalo Chicken Casserole from paleOMG.  (Plus, it’s on this week’s menu, so I bought enough to make two!)  I’m excited to have some new things to try with the recipes we shared!  Click on the name of the dish under each picture for the recipe…

Speaking of community, for this #JanuaryWhole30, I’ve created a private group on Facebook for my readers, friends, and family who are Whole30’ing together!  It’s a fun group of for support, encouragement, and recipe/resource sharing.  I’d LOVE for you to join us…just search “Whole30 Dallas” and request to join or click here
