Not to be overly dramatic, but everyone needs this chic little tee dress! And, now you can get it for under $15! I included it in my Summer Capsule Wardrobe thinking maybe I’d wear it a few times. But the truth is, I wore it at least once a week! It’s a simple, chic piece to pull on and quickly look put together. It had been a while since I owned a tee dress, but when I saw this one I wanted to give the style a try again! It’s also available in several colors and stripes. (I bought mine earlier this summer at regular price, $26.94, which is still a steal! But, now though 8/28, Old Navy is offering 40% off everything, taking the price down to $13.41!)
It fit perfectly off the rack, the way a tee dress should. Not too snug, but not too loose either, and the perfect length. Its available online in Regular, Tall, and Petite sizes (For reference, I’m wearing an XS regular). Thinking of adding the black/white stripe to my cart!
For this post, I wanted to style the dress in a way that easily transitions from summer to fall. In Dallas its still hot, but the AC is cranking indoors most places. I usually carry a light layer to stay warm! I like the look of a denim jacket tied around the waist, but because of my height it looks too bulky. I substituted a denim button up shirt, to get the look without the added volume.
On this day, after pictures I was headed to the mall for a marathon school shopping session with my daughter, so I decided on my Adidas Superstars. They’re super comfy and perfect for running around, getting errands done. These will definitely be on repeat this season! They go with everything! A reversible tote, and simple accessories (choker, bracelet, and studs) complete my laid back look.
As summer comes to an end, I’ve been thinking about how much having a capsule wardrobe simplified my life and saved time each day! I actually had (more!) fun deciding what to wear. It’s something I want to continue next season. Stay tuned for my Fall Capsule Wardrobe, coming soon!

I love T-shirt dresses. I have 2 lulu t dresses that I always get compliments when I wear. I went to Old Navy today and bought two of these dresses. They work really well for my figure (short, athletic.) Thanks for the rec!
