What to Pack: Spring Break Skiing

Am I the only one who’s in disbelief that Spring Break is right around the corner?  Not complaining, but sometimes I can’t believe how fast time flies!  We’ll be headed to Taos once again, for skiing, relaxation, and a good dose of family time.  And, Taos Ski Valley just received 16 inches of new snowfall…can’t wait!  Sharing my ski trip essentials with you all today…

When we’re getting ready to travel, Saint Bernard is my first stop, in store or online.  Their expertly curated selection is always on trend!  You’ll find the best winter gear there, as well as everything you need for swim season!  Before our trip, I like to take stock of what we have, and what needs to be purchased/replaced.  It seems to be an ongoing list when you have kids!  Luckily, Saint Bernard has an variety of brands we love, and amazing sales!  They offer Free 3 Day Shipping and Returns on orders over $100…

I visited the store recently and couldn’t resist a new set for spring!  I fell in love with this quilted navy jacket with chic fur trim hood and white ski pants (also on sale!)…I can’t wait to wear them on the mountain.  I’m still working on my ski skills, with lessons each time, but at least I can look the part!  The fit, style, and quality of Obermeyer has won me over, and their styles are true to size.  When I got back into skiing last year, I celebrated with new Obermeyer separates! My favorite black set is still available, and also  on sale.

Both kids needed new ski clothing this year.  Thankfully, there were great deals to be found!  Many kids’ styles have “grow with you” features to maximize their usage time, helpful for those growth spurts.  Scroll through for my picks…

For the Guys:

Ryan loves his performance pieces from The North Face!  They’re quality core styles at a great price.  Many popular styles of Obermeyer and Kjus have also been marked down.  Scroll though for great finds for men….

Sorel on Sale:

Weatherproof boots are a must for to/from the mountains, and to wear around town…awesome prices on Sorels right now!  Get them while they’re on sale, you won’t regret it!

A few more things to take with you / have extras just in case:

thank you for this set, heading to Lake Tahoe for spring break and I stopped at St. Bernard, go me a pair of Sorel wedges, after ordering from Athleta and figuring out they run .5 size large. I have a pair of Obermeyerski pants on hold till tomorrow, liked the fit and the fact that they come in short lengths, too. They are reasonably priced, too.
