Spring Break Instagram Round Up

Feels good to be back in Dallas after Spring Break!  But, not gonna lie…it was tough to quickly jump back into routine after our trip!  We had such a wonderful time in Taos.  We really had the best of both worlds.  The weather was sunny and warm in town and in the ski valley, (but still cold enough for snow and awesome skiing).  If you haven’t visited Northern New Mexico in the spring, add it to your list…it’s beautiful!

I wanted to share a quick instagram outfit roundup today.  While on break, I featured plenty of pieces on major markdown and pieces that will transition well into spring.  I know we all have warm weather clothing on our minds, but now is also the perfect time to score great deals on winter gear for next year…the prices are almost too good to be true!

Layers for exploring!  Wore these staple pieces for a short hike and exploring Taos with our family.  These four basic black pieces are indispensable…I wear them all the time!

The perfect lightweight spring lululemon layers for hiking or running.

A light bomber jacket is great for spring weather…paired it with travel friendly essentials for a day in town, shopping and eating!  Taos has a lovely selection of restaurants and coffee shops.  We stopped by Chokola Bean to Bar, a small batch, organic, crafted chocolate maker for an afternoon coffee + chocolate fix.  Delicious!

Style your Bomber jacket with jeans and slip on sneakers for a chic casual outfit

I loved the painted wood floors at Chokola…couldn’t resist taking a pic!   These slip ons are so comfortable, come in several colors, and are under $60…they’re my favorite!

Vans Slip On Sneakers go with everything...they are part of my everyday capsule wardrobe

Paired my go-to black jeans with a light mock neck sweater and Sorel wedge boots for dinner.  Casual chic outfit!  This reversible tote is a great everyday or travel bag…I have two of them I use regularly.

Wore this off shoulder top (under $25!) and jeans for my birthday dinner at Lambert’s of Taos, another favorite spot.  I added a turquoise squash blossom necklace for a bit of color…under $50!

I think this is my favorite ski outfit yet!  The navy + white combo was perfect for spring.  I received tons of compliments on this jacket….the style is so chic and it’s on sale in several colors.  Marisa got the black on black leopard print with black faux fur version, love that one too!

Chic ski jackets and pants from Obermeyer! We love the style and streamlined fit of these pieces. Look sleek on the slopes in Obermeyer! Saint Bernard has an amazing selection of Obermeyer ski wear for women!

I’ve been making an effort to pack lighter on our trips, so wearing the jeans again paired with a tee and my favorite open toe booties.  I wore a criss cross front strap bralette underneath, and layered a light tencel olive green jacket over.  This jacket is super soft and under $30…I have a feeling I’ll be wearing it over everything this summer!

As always, you can shop my instagram feed here on my blog, from the SHOP category above.  But did you know that now you can shop my pics by screenshot with the new LIKEtoKNOW.it App?!  (For a quick video about how it works, click here.)  It’s quick, easy, and the app is free.  Plus, it gives you all the pics you screenshot in one place, so you can quickly find out where an item is from, price, and link to shop!  You can still get the emails when you like my photos if you’ve already subscribed, but the app simplifies the process…

I’m catching up over the next few days, and planning to share some exciting spring content with y’all in the coming weeks…can’t wait!  Feel free to ask any questions about the pieces I feature here…happy to help with fit, quality, or sizing questions…

Thanks for stopping by 🙂  Have a great day!
