Colorblock Leggings and Mesh Back Tank | Style Squared Clothing

style squaredToday I’m sharing an outfit from Style Squared with eye-catching details!  As you all know, I love black activewear.  But, in the summer I like to find ways to add pops of color to lighten up the look a bit!  Lightweight tops (instead of jackets) I can throw on for a quick cover up are also a must-have.  They’re great for running around town before or after my workout.  Bonus if they also can actually be worn to workout in or with other casual pieces.  (Be sure to check out the black and white outfit from Style Squared that I posted last week!)

I’ll be honest, when I first saw these Splits59 color block leggings they weren’t my favorite!  But once I put them on, I didn’t want to take them off!  Just goes to show that you have to try things on…you might miss something amazing if you don’t.  The way the patterns and colors are placed on the leggings is actually quite flattering!  The sports bra I’m wearing is also from Splits59, is a super comfy basic.  Sadly, the leggings and bra have sold out, but be sure to check out the new summer arrivals at Style Squared, and use my code loubiesandlulu20 for 20% off  your purchase!  (And, free shipping on orders over $100)

Now, let’s talk about this top…I’m obsessed!  The unique details are what make this cap sleeve tee a statement piece.  It’s made of performance fabric that is smooth to the touch.  It’s on the longer side, providing the option to wear as-is, for more coverage with leggings (on me, it fully covers my bottom), or tie it up on the side to define the waist.  I love, love, love the mesh on the back of the top!  Its perfect for showing off a bold color or strappy sports bra.  I would even wear this top with skinny black jeans and sandals or heels!

To complete the look, I added my Nike Frees and new Puma tote.  This tote is a new favorite, perfect for everyday!  It’s a great buy, under $60, and has plenty of pockets to keep my stuff organized.  And, the gold hardware is a plus!
