Earlier this week I mentioned that some of my favorite designers have added high performance activewear to their collections. Today I want to highlight the active collections from Mara Hoffman (above) and Adidas – Stella McCartney (below).

**What really stands out in the Mara Hoffman collection are the simple shapes and signature prints.**

I LOVE the prints, especially the kaleidoscope ones. They are so colorful and pretty! An added benefit is that the nylon/spandex fabric used for the leggings and bra tops has SPF 50 sun protection…

**My favorite thing about the Adidas – Stella McCartney active collection is how sophisticated the look is.**

It’s very sleek and could easily transition from the studio to street. The gym bags and backpacks also stand out with great silhouettes and fabrics. For the workout wear, I love the way special details are integrated into basic pieces, such as bright pops of color, cut-outs, and shine.
