Instead of the Active Gift Guide collage I’ve done before, this year I am taking a different approach! I was asked by lululemon Knox Street to put together an active look for their Holiday Gift Guide. My sweet friend (and fellow blogger), Marisa, of MARHOW, was also asked to participate and put together an after-workout look. Of course, we were both super excited to select our looks, and share them with you all. We figured we’d make an afternoon of it, and also meet for a healthy lunch at the T Room.
My approach when choosing my look was to select pieces that were versatile and could work for different activities. I also wanted to choose pieces that could be layered. The current Run Collection caught my eye as I browsed the store, and I decided to go with items from that. Karmacollected Jacket:
Love the fitted silhouette and oversized collar on this jacket. You can play with the collar to create different looks. It is made of cotton fleece, and is very soft and cuddly without added bulk. (Shown in Heathered Light Grey)
Think Fast Tank:
Made of lululemon’s running fabric, Rulu, it is extremely soft and stretchy, but also sweat-wicking. LOVE the fit on this tank. Has a flattering neckline, and lower cut armholes to show off the many cute styles of lululemon sports bras. (Shown in Parallel Stripe)
Free to Be Wild Bra:
Speaking of cute sports bras, this one is my current favorite! It is sold out online, but try your local store. The Free to Be Bra and the Energy Bra are similar styles. Low support, with a gorgeous strappy back. You will want to show this one off, layered with either the Think Fast Tank or the 105F Singlet! (Shown in Ultra Violet)
Runday Crops:
I used to be a Wunder Under–only kinda girl, but I have come to love the luxtreme crops and pants just the same. They are thick and compressive, but comfortable, and have the cutest ankle zippers with reflective strips and ruched detail. These are crops, but on me, at 5’2″, they are ankle pants:-) (Shown in Black/UltraViolet)
Rest Less Pullover:
The perfect mid-layer! Great for running, under your ski jacket, or over your tank after workout, this one is super versatile. Plus, love the cable knit detail. Marisa selected this top also, definitely check out how she styled it! You’d never know it’s a workout top! (Shown in Heathered Ultra Violet)
Mantra Tote:
Sometimes basics are best! I love how simple and modern this tote looks in basic black. Plus it has a patterned lining, and is reversible for two looks in one. Also comes in neutral blush metallic and silver metallic. (Shown in Black)
