HELLO, NOVEMBER!

This fall, I’m focused on adding versatile pieces to my wardrobe…

This blouse and clutch are both new pieces that will get plenty of wear this season! At one point, I had tons of activewear and dressy pieces to choose from, but not much in between! And lots of jeans…I love shopping for new denim, but truthfully, I don’t get much wear out of them. So guilty! I thought this top was one that I could wear during the week to a meeting or lunch, but also wear on the weekend. By switching out the pumps for a cute ankle bootie or ballet flat, the look is instantly more casual….

I’ve also been trying to actually wear things other than activewear on weekdays, which can be quite a challenge for me. Really. I know it sounds silly, but it’s way too easy for me to be in workout clothes all the time. But, I’ve discovered that putting on “real” clothes once in a while gives me some extra pep in my step! And, it makes me feel a bit less guilty about the stacks of denim I have in my closet!

I was recently introduced to the Hammitt line of handbags…

I thought the Joe clutch would pair well with my jeans and blouse look. There is plenty to love about this versatile clutch! It is a gorgeous shade and has some cool texture details on the front flap. The leather is so soft, and you can see that lots of thought was put into the design of this bag. It has a zip closure to keep everything secure, but also a phone slot in back and a seperate large pocket under the flap that could actually fit an iPad or tablet.

I love the look of an oversized clutch, but it also has a strap you can add to wear as on the shoulder or cross-body. I’ve worn this bag several times already, and received compliments/comments on it each time! It also comes in cognac with gold hardware and black with black or gold hardware.
